Over the Hill Gang at the Cabot Trail Relay Racy May 29 & 30, 2004
The “Over the Hill Gang” is the running team from the
Bluenose Striders of Lunenburg and Queens Counties in Nova Scotia that has participated in every one of the 17 Cabot Trail
Relay Races since its inception.
This year our team had the honour of defending the Master Team Title it won in 2003. Our team seemed up for the challenge, running an even faster relay than last year, and even moving up seven places in the overall standings from 26th to 19th. This we did despite the cold and rain that plagued this year's relay. However, there were two great new Master Teams that superceded our accomplishment. We salute the Masters and Seniors Team and the Pepsi Team that did so well.
