47th Bert Corkum Memorial 5-Mile Road Race

The 47th Bert Corkum Memorial Road Race took place on September 10, 2011 under beautiful, sunny skies.

Organized this year by Rick and Bev Chataway, the event went off without a hitch. A total of 36 runners took part in this five-mile race which challenges its participants with several hills during the loop course.

Overall winner was Lunenburg's Colin Edwards. Second and third were Jonathan Menzies and Terry Melloy. Top female was Alice Patrick. Second- and third-place females were Nancy Petrie and Peggy Falkenham-Boutilier.
